Dear Artists, Models, Sponsors, and Supporters,
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Night of the Living Art was a huge success! Over 350 in attendance, food was delicious, everyone and everything looked amazing! Great work everyone!
Thank you to my husband, Shawn Scott, and all the husbands and families who put in hours and lent wives to support the evening. Thanks to my brothers, my aunt and uncle, my dad, my mom, my grandma, and Roseanne Kaysen for the time spent watching and helping with my boys so I could host work nights and put in time on this event.
Thanks to the all the artists, all the hours put in on the basic and detail painting really pulled things together. Thank you to Hentzen Construction and all those who put in time sanding, priming, painting, and drilling frames and boxes....that was a HUGE job to get done!
Thank you, Jason Lonergan, for coordinating, purchasing, and setting up lighting for the event. Every piece had exactly what we needed to light it.
Thank you, Mollie Wetta and Katie Gordon, for photographing the event. I personally will view these again and again, and know the models will love seeing these too!
Thank you, Paulette Cain, for your work on the costumes, consulting, fitting, and sewing. They were beautiful! I especially loved the jacket for Bar at the Folies Bergere!
Thank you, Jane Hutsey for coordinating make-up, for all your trips in town, shopping, planning, and meetings that pulled the makeup together perfectly. Thanks to the make-up artists, every face looked beautiful.
Thank you, Denise Wilson, for help with the hair and wigs, they looked amazing. Your gift was truly appreciated, and you were a sport to take it on on shorter notice!
Thank you, models, for your time and coming over for costume fittings, hair, and make-up. Some of you even took it upon yourselves to help coordinate your own costumes! Every model looked fantastic and posed spot on for the big night! You all really stole the show!
Thank you Mary Mayta, Jamie, and the MGM dancers for your beautiful costumes, coordinating, dancing, and music. You all looked beautiful and were the perfect graceful ballerinas to portray Degas.
Thank you, Aunt Diana(Nana) and Uncle Randy for allowing us to use your shed, for hauling frames and boxes, and for babysitting my kids. You guys are awesome and so generous with your time (and resources!)
Thank you, KMC drama department, for lending costume items and wigs.
Thank you, volunteers, behind the scenes and in the spotlight!
Thank you, committee heads, for your coordination of decorations, food, and execution of a perfect starry night!
